April 29, DuPont Apollo Limited ("DuPont Apollo") announced that it will terminate its amorphous silicon thin film photovoltaic (solar) component business end, DuPont DuPont Solar was founded in Hong Kong and Shenzhen in 2008, a wholly owned sub-the company.
DuPont said it would continue to review the decision in line with the company business portfolio, consistent with the focus on high-growth, high-profit principle. DuPont Solar will continue to work to fulfill contractual obligations with customers.
DuPont will continue to focus on investment in mainland China and Hong Kong to maintain in the region important and diversified business development. DuPont in new materials, new energy and biological materials to explore the potential R & D projects in Hong Kong and cooperation.
In addition to the outer solar DuPont, DuPont photovoltaic industry is still a leading supplier of specialty materials, with the broadest product portfolio to optimize the power output of PV systems to ensure their long-term reliability and high financial returns.
Increase in installed capacity in the next few years, the solar system is expected to reach 20%. DuPont will continue to work to support the continued growth of the photovoltaic industry to accelerate the development and utilization of solar energy, to help cope with the world's growing energy needs.
