China and the EU proposed minimum import prices remain unchanged
Time:2014-06-24

According to an industry veteran, Chinese manufacturers to sell to the EU minimum price panels will remain unchanged.

Informed that the minimum import price in 2014 for the third quarter of China into the EU solar equipment (MIP) will remain at € 0.53 per watt.

MIP is a key part of the price promised his consent after the EU and China on behalf of Chinese manufacturers CCCME (CCCME)'s. Commitments under the terms of the sale of Chinese components are not subject to the 47.6 percent punitive tariffs.

There was speculation that, at the end of the first quarter decline in the price level will be revised after three cents back up to its original level of 0.56 euros per watt.

Veteran level Chinese manufacturer has confirmed there will be no change.

The level must be certified pvXchange and Bloomberg New Energy Finance (Bloomberg New Energy Finance) pricing data, however, the decision ultimately depends on the Chinese manufacturer, which is part of the commitment. The commitment also set annual import quotas 7GW, which will be reviewed annually.
